Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Bloggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Artum Ruska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joe Bloggs is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Bloggs!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Artum Ruska!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bloggs shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Bloggs rushes Ruska and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ruska trying to land knees to the body.

Bloggs breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ruska throws a chopping leg kick but Bloggs manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Bloggs shoots in for a takedown but Ruska shows good takedown defense.
Ruska keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Bloggs. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bloggs scores a takedown into full mount!
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Bloggs raining down shots from the mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ruska is looking to get to half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bloggs manages to capitalize on a mistake by Ruska to take his back!

Bloggs lands punches and elbows.
Bloggs tries to get the hooks in deep but Ruska pushed the leg off.
Bloggs keeps control of the position as Ruska tries to break free.
Ruska is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Ruska manages to reverse the position and now he's in Bloggs's guard. Nice work there by Ruska.
Bloggs is trying to keep Ruska in close.
Bloggs throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Bloggs is looking for a triangle but Ruska pushes his legs off easily.
Ruska prevents Bloggs from getting back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bloggs keeping moving, preventing Ruska from controlling successfully.
Bloggs throwing short punches from the bottom.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Ruska accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bloggs pulls Ruska in close to prevent any damage.

Bloggs is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ruska is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ruska advances to half guard.
Ruska wants to free his trapped foot but Bloggs is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Bloggs landing small, sideways elbows.
Bloggs missing with punches from the bottom.
Bloggs striking from the bottom.

Bloggs has one foot on Ruska's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Bloggs uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ruska.
Bloggs swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Ruska.
Bloggs ducks under a wild hook from Ruska.
Ruska throws a one two combo.
Ruska thows a body shot but no joy.
Bloggs tries to clinch up.
Bloggs moves in looking to clinch but Ruska pushes him off.
A big right from Ruska misses.
Ruska looks to throw the jab but Bloggs is out of range.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bloggs is defended easily by Ruska.
Ruska lands with a good body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Ruska pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bloggs is out of range and Ruska settles back down.
Ruska slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ruska throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bloggs tries to clinch but Ruska moves out of range.
Ruska rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Bloggs moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A big left from Ruska misses.
Bloggs on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Ruska walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Bloggs checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Ruska throws a hook to the side of Bloggs's head but Bloggs sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bloggs closes the distance and clinches up with Ruska, looking for a takedown. Bloggs pushes Ruska against the cage but Ruska circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Bloggs drives through with a takedown into guard.

Ruska is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Joe Bloggs dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Ruska loads up on a big right hand but Bloggs slips the punch.
Bloggs avoids the body shot from Ruska.
Ruska misses with an uppercut. Bloggs saw that one coming.
Bloggs misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bloggs keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Ruska.

Bloggs shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ruska is trying to defend but Bloggs finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Ruska tries to roll over but Bloggs keeps him under control.
Ruska slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Bloggs thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Bloggs trying to control the position from guard on top but Ruska is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ruska avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Ruska had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Bloggs defends it easily.
Bloggs stands up over Ruska, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Bloggs passes into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Bloggs is looking for a kimura but Ruska is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bloggs to get the leverage.
Ruska is trying to get back to full guard.
Ruska moves into full guard.

Ruska working for a triangle but Bloggs defends it easily.
Ruska is breathing heavily.
Ruska is trying to control the position but Bloggs postures up.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bloggs gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Ruska misses with an uppercut

and Bloggs holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Ruska misses with an elbow over the top.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bloggs tries to pull guard but Ruska holds him up against the cage and eventually Bloggs drops back down to his feet.

Bloggs works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Ruska working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bloggs doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bloggs manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Bloggs postures up and lands a big shot to Ruska's brow.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bloggs's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Bloggs trying to control but Ruska is working from the bottom.

Ruska looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Bloggs with a nice head shot there.
Bloggs controls from within his opponent's guard.
Bloggs sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ruska's guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bloggs seems to be working for a kimura but Ruska defends the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bloggs wants to free his trapped foot but Ruska is holding on for dear life with his legs.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bloggs seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ruska does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Joe Bloggs dominated that second round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Ruska throws the left hand but Bloggs avoids the punch easily.

Bloggs has Ruska up against the cage in a clinch.

Bloggs decides to pull guard.
Ruskais looking to pass into half guard but Bloggs pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Bloggs is in guard.

Ruska has his foot on Bloggs's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bloggs works his way back into a safe position though.
Joe Bloggs overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bloggs wants to pass the guard but Ruska is keeping the position.
Bloggs throwing strikes but missing.
Bloggs trying to control the position from guard on top but Ruska is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ruska working for a triangle but Bloggs defends it easily.

Bloggs stands up and waves to Ruska to follow him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ruska misses with a hook

and Bloggs counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Ruska manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Ruska wants to finish this one by submission but Bloggs is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ruska.
Ruska takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Bloggs sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Bloggs throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Ruska blocks the strikes from Bloggs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bloggs gets full guard.
Ruska must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Bloggs striking from his own guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bloggs working for a triangle but Ruska defends it easily.
Bloggs keeping full guard, as Ruska tries to pass.
Bloggs trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!

Bloggs is looking to sinch up a triangle. Ruska throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bloggs's body to avoid the submission. Bloggs has instead reached around Ruska's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bloggs arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Joe Bloggs!
