Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brian Lobe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stanislaus Kasava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kasava has chosen Faith No More - As The Worm Turns as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasava throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A shot to the body from Lobe misses
and Kasava connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kasava moves into range and connects with a jab.
Kasava ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Kasava swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Brian Lobe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kasava blocks the body kick.
Nice body punch from Kasava.
Kasava lands a jab-cross combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lobe swings for the body but Kasava moves out of range.
Lobe misses with a hook to the body
and Kasava counters with a stiff right hand.

and Kasava holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Lobe tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Lobe drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kasava gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kasava misses with a short punch on the inside.
Kasava lands a hook to the side of the head.
Kasava lands with a right to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Still in the clinch, Kasava scores with a nice short uppercut.
Kasava lands a nice uppercut.
Lobe fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brian Lobe. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kasava lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Lobe is rocked!

Oh Lobe is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kasava swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Kasava tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Kasava misses with some punches.
Kasava has a couple of punches blocked by Lobe.
Kasava fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Kasava swings wildly with an uppercut but Lobe uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lobe seems to have got his legs back now.
Lobe tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kasava smiles and moves away.
Lobe swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Kasava counters with a nice uppercut.
Lobe throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kasava scores with a counter punch that sends Lobe to the canvas! Kasava smells blood - he's punishing Lobe with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Lobe has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Stanislaus Kasava!
