The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henry has his takedown stuffed

and Nut counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Nut.
Nut prevents the takedown attempt.
Nut presses Henry against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Henry tries to score a body lock takedown but Nut shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nut lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Henry has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Henry and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Henry ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Henry no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Nut stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Henry swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Henry throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Henry has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Nut is working away from the top position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Sam Nut dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Nut jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

Henry looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Henry tries to score a power double leg takedown but Nut sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Henry somewhat.

Nut fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Henry has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Nut using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Henry has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Nut just misses with a elbow thrown towards Henry's brow.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tito Henry.
I think Nut has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
