The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dayton fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Toney to the ground. Dayton is now in Toney's guard.
Dayton's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Dayton will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Toney looking for a sweep. Not yet Toney, not yet.
Dayton looking to pass the guard.
Dayton is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Toney wants to stand up but Dayton is controlling him.
Dayton is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jack Dayton.

Toney shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Dayton's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dayton is on top in guard.
Dayton is pushing down on Toney's leg trying to pass to half guard. Toney is fighting to maintain full guard but Dayton has managed to sneak the leg through.
Still in half guard, Dayton seems content to control.

Toney seems a little lost for a moment, as Dayton dominates the positioning.

Dayton has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Toney is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Dayton yanks on the arm and Toney is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Dayton.
