Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Manny Pacquiao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Luutch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luutch has chosen job2 do - doo doo doo as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Luutch tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Luutch tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Pacquiao counters with a single leg into guard. Luutch didn't expect that.

Luutch looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Pacquiao slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Pacquiao has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Luutch is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Luutch escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pacquiao gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Luutch is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pacquiao defends well.

Luutch is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Pacquiao controls from within his opponent's guard.
Luutch is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Luutch is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pacquiao defends well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pacquiao wants to control from the top but Luutch keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Manny Pacquiao.

Luutch tries to close the distance and clinch but Pacquiao swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Luutch is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Pacquiao.

Luutch stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Luutch wants it to stay on the feet.
Luutch pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Pacquiao shoots for a takedown but Luutch saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Luutch thows a body shot but no joy.

Luutch pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Pacquiao shoots in for a double leg but Luutch sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Manny Pacquiao. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Luutch doesn't manage to clinch there - Pacquiao circles away.
Pacquiao lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Luutch circles away quickly and effectively.

Pacquiao dives in and scores a takedown into Luutch's guard.
Pacquiao tries to free his leg and advance position but Luutch is retaining full guard.

Pacquiao slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Luutch looking for subs off his back but Pacquiao has passed one foot through into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Pacquiao's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Luutch throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Luutch fails to land with a series of punches.
Manny Pacquiao is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Luutch wants to clinch but Pacquiao slips to the side

and Pacquiao counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Luutch wants to stand and escape but Pacquiao is having none of it.
Pacquiao engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Luutch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pacquiao doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pacquiao manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Pacquiao gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Luutch on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Pacquiao counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Luutch breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Larry Luutch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Pacquiao counters with a single leg into guard. Luutch didn't expect that.
Luutch is breathing heavily.
Pacquiao not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Luutch is pushing Pacquiao's head away, looking to escape. Pacquiao manages to hold on to the position though.

Pacquiao thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Luutch pushes Pacquiao off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Luutch has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Pacquiao is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Luutch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Pacquiao is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Luutch has escaped the position, nice work there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Pacquiao drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Luutch is not content to let Pacquiao control the position.

Luutch is desperately trying to improve his position but Pacquiao has a good base and remains in mount.
Luutch is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Pacquiao avoids the attempt from Luutch to control.
Luutch is looking to improve his position but Pacquiao isn't that keen on the idea.
Pacquiao can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Luutch is looking to escape.
Luutch is trying desperately to improve position.
Pacquiao lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Luutch is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Luutch can't escape the position.
Luutch takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Pacquiao takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Luutch is squirming around, avoiding Pacquiao's attempts to control the action.

Luutch wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Luutch wants to get back to his feet.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Pacquiao's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Luutch tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Manny Pacquiao is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Luutch is looking to improve his position but Pacquiao isn't that keen on the idea.
Larry Luutch has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
