Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cooper King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Elwood Buckknuckle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cooper King!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Elwood Buckknuckle!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buckknuckle gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
King looking to pass the guard.
King is working hard here to advance position.

Buckknuckle throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
King wants to pass the guard but Buckknuckle is keeping the position.

Buckknuckle working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. King doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. King manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Buckknuckle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Buckknuckle bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in King's guard.
King wants to stand and escape but Buckknuckle is having none of it.

King scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Buckknuckle looks to land a right hand but King moved out of range.

A momentary lapse in concentration from King enables Buckknuckle to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. King manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Buckknuckle trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
King is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
King wants to stand but Buckknuckle is controlling the position.
King is breathing heavily.
Buckknuckle tries to free his leg and advance position but King is retaining full guard.

Buckknuckle postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
King avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Buckknuckle with a flurry of punches that miss.

King kicks Buckknuckle off and gets to his feet.
King misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cooper King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Buckknuckle connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed King momentarily.
Buckknuckle throws the kick towards the body but King avoids it.
King tries to close the distance and clinch but Buckknuckle swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Buckknuckle gets the takedown into side control.
Check out the look on Buckknuckle's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
