Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pulver Toast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Schaefer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Ben Schaefer enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pulver Toast!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ben Schaefer!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toast pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Schaefer closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Toast quickly recovers to half guard.
Schaefer wants to free his trapped foot but Toast is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Schaefer is working for a kimura but Toast is defending it quite comfortably.
Schaefer trying to mount his opponent but Toast defends it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Schaefer is looking to take a break and control but Toast is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Schaefer is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Schaefer wants to free his trapped foot but Toast is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Nice strikes from Schaefer there.
Schaefer wants to pass the guard but Toast is defending well.
Toast is refusing to be controlled, as Schaefer sits in half guard.
Schaefer is looking to advance position but Toast won't allow it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Schaefer is keen to just control but Toast is a slippery customer.
Schaefer trying to mount his opponent but Toast defends it.

Schaefer is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Schaefer is looking to take a break and control but Toast is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Schaefer with the ground and pound but Toast uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Toast keeping moving, preventing Schaefer from controlling successfully.
Schaefer wants to pass the guard but Toast is keeping the position.
Schaefer is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Schaefer advances position into side control!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Schaefer looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Toast is avoiding damage well.
Toast parries the strikes from Schaefer easily there. Schaefer is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Toast to escape.
Schaefer advances nicely into full mount.
Schaefer lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Schaefer tries to control but Toast wriggling away.
Toast can't escape the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Schaefer scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Toast?
Toast is bucking up trying to escape but Schaefer cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ben Schaefer dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Schaefer lunges at Toast with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Toast's hand.
Schaefer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Toast looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Schaefer misses with a low kick as Toast jumps back.
Schaefer connects with a jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Toast walks into a straight right hand from Schaefer.
Schaefer lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Toast up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Schaefer from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Toast's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ben Schaefer!
