Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between tyson Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ben Stone will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, tyson Griffin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ben Stone!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Griffin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Stone has time to react.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Griffin scores with a hook to the body. Stone takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Griffin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stone manages to avoid it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Stone looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Griffin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Griffin there as he acknowledges the shot.

Nice straight punches there by Stone. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Stone.

Griffin chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Stone can pounce on him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Stone tries to close the distance and clinch up but Griffin swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stone lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Stone has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Griffin finds it's way round the side to connect with Stone's head.

Griffin closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
