Li comes to the cage accompanied by Give My Bullet Back. Stefanovic has chosen check yo self as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Miodrag Stefanovic!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Stefanovic can pounce on him.
James Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Stefanovic enables Li to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Stefanovic manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stefanovic managing to control the position.
Li trying to control the position from guard on top but Stefanovic is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Stefanovic is looking for a triangle but Li pushes his legs off easily.
Stefanovic is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Li drops back, looking for a kneebar! Stefanovic looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Stefanovic looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stefanovic!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stefanovic decides to stand back up. Stefanovic steps back and let's Li get back to his feet.
Stefanovic lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Stefanovic throws a low kick but Li avoids it.
Stefanovic throws a combination that misses
and Li counters with a shoot takedown. Stefanovic fights it but they end up in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Li slips nicely into half guard.
Stefanovic manages to get to full guard.
Li postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stefanovic is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Li, into his guard.

Li is looking for a triangle but Stefanovic pushes his legs off easily.
Stefanovic has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Li to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Stefanovic is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Li pulls down on the head and he's put Stefanovic to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). James Li!
