Staffansson has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Michaels regains guard immediately.
Staffansson's corner is telling him to maintain position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Staffansson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Staffansson wants to control from the top but Michaels keeps moving.
