A momentary lapse in concentration from Pedalny enables Kirov to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pedalny manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Kirov drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pedalny looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pedalny looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pedalny!
Kirov is trying to escape the position but Pedalny is controlling the position.
Pedalny has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Kirov is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Pedalny yanks on the arm and Kirov is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Pedalny.
