Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryu Fighter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Mabie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryu Fighter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Mabie!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mabie pushes Fighter up against the cage in a clinch.
A short body shot lands from Mabie as the two fighters clinch.

Mabie pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Mabie looking to score a takedown here. Fighter is defending well but Mabie drives through and ends up in Fighter's guard.

Mabie stands and steps away. Fighter gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Mabie has Fighter up against the cage in a clinch.
A frustrated look appears on Fighter's face as he tries to break the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Mabie.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Fighter letting Mabie take a breather here.
A left hand lands to the body for Mabie.

Mabie manages to break the clinch.
Mabie pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Fighter connects with a high kick.
Fighter tries to clinch

and Mabie counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Still in half guard, Mabie seems content to control.
It looks like Mabie might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Mabie landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Mabie is nestled in close to Fighter, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Mabie escapes and gets back to his feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Mabie.
Mabie controlling the position.
Mabie lands some shots froms side control.

Mabie takes a little break here. Fighter wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Fighter is breathing heavily.

Mabie has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Fighter is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mabie yanks on the arm and Fighter is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mabie.
