Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ronaldo Muyeira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masaru Hirai!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hirai tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Muyeira paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Muyeira looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Hirai lands a big head kick that sends Muyeira tumbling to the mat! Hirai takes a step backwards and waves Muyeira back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Ronaldo Muyeira has been cut.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Hirai throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Muyeira is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
