Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Akira Shinsato!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shinsato takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Shinsato tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silva swats him away and circles back towards the center.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Silva.
Silva scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Akira Shinsato seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shinsato moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Shinsato tries to clinch but Silva moves out of range.
Shinsato gets a double leg takedown into Silva's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Shinsato won't allow Silva to sweep him here.

Shinsato is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Silva postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Shinsato looks a forlorn figure.
The referee warns Shinsato that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Silva postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Shinsato looks a forlorn figure.
Silva is landing with some decent strikes but Shinsato is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Silva lands a big elbow.

Silva unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Shinsato wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Silva celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
