The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCaw closes the distance but Cabreros moves to the side
enabling Cabreros to counter with a crisp jab.

It looks like Stumpy McCaw has been cut.
McCaw throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Cabreros sees it coming and avoids it easily.
McCaw misses with a double jab
and Cabreros counters with an outside leg kick.
Cabreros pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
McCaw throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Cabreros to counter with a crisp jab.

McCaw clinches up against the cage.
A hook to the body from Cabreros.
Cabreros blocks an uppercut.
Cabreros blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Cabreros lands a shot to the body.
Cabreros pushes McCaw back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
McCaw goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Cabreros pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McCaw misses with an uppercut
and Cabreros counters with a right hand to the body.
McCaw is breathing heavily.
Cabreros throws out a powerful jab.
A left lands for Cabreros.
McCaw takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Cabreros getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Cabreros buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Cabreros drops McCaw with a straight left! Oh this is bad for McCaw! Cabreros dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
