Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Masakazu Maeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Genki Sudo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maeda comes to the cage accompanied by Wandering Star. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Masakazu Maeda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Genki Sudo!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maeda shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Sudo sprawls well. Sudo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Maeda gets slowly back to his feet.
Sudo lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Masakazu Maeda has been cut.

Maeda forces Sudo back against the cage and clinches.
Sudo creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Sudo is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Maeda is defending well for now.
Maeda goes for a takedown in the clinch but Sudo prevents it.
Sudo stalling.
Maeda fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Masakazu Maeda. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Sudo using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Maeda has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Sudo misses with a short punch on the inside.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Sudo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Maeda blocks the elbow strike.
Sudo is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Sudo lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Maeda is rocked!
Sudo lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Maeda backwards.
Oh Maeda is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Sudo throws a big uppercut that drops Maeda! More strikes from Sudo and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Maeda lies dazed against the cage as Sudo celebrates with his cornermen!
