Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cole Tessier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryoichi Yukimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yukimura is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pleasures of the Combat. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cole Tessier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ryoichi Yukimura!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yukimura tries a head kick but it misses.
Tessier feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Yukimuras jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Yukimura throws a left and a right that both miss
and Tessier counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Yukimura is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Yukimura is rocked!
Yukimura misses with a leg kick.
Tessier lands with a good body shot.
Yukimura misses with a body shot
and Tessier connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Yukimura.
Yukimura fails with the takedown

and Tessier counters with a crisp one two that drops Yukimura! Tessier thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Yukimura to his feet! Yukimura is in big trouble!
Yukimura is still on wobbly legs! Can Tessier finish him?
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Tessier cracks Yukimura with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Yukimura tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Tessier pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Yukimura is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
