Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Brayne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brayne tries to clinch up

and Hogan counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Hogan.

Hogan throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Brayne stops Hogan from passing to mount.
Brayne sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Hogan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brayne is just riding it out for now. Hogan eventually gives up the hold.
Brayne tries to get to full guard but Hogan has control of the leg.

Hogan frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Brayne is squirming around, avoiding Hogan's attempts to control the action.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hogan is working for a guillotine from mount but Brayne frees his head quite easily.
Hogan is breathing heavily.
Brayne is desperately trying to improve his position but Hogan has a good base and remains in mount.

Let's hope that Hogan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Brayne is squirming around, avoiding Hogan's attempts to control the action.

Scott Hogan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well Hogan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
