Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between The Situation (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Situation comes into the arena with Worlds Greatest blaring out of the sound system. Balboa has chosen Eye Of The Tiger as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Situation uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Balboa.
Situation takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Situation takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Balboa missing with a left hand there. Situation was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

The fighters circle momentarily. Balboa darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A solid leg kick lands there for Situation.
Situation comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Situation shoots for a double leg takedown but Balboa sprawls well. He's pushed Situation's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The Situation seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Balboa throws a lazy right hand but Situation sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Situation shoots in for a double leg but Balboa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Situation.
Situation is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Balboa will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

The referee asks Situation politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Situation prefers to stall for the moment though.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref stands the fighters back up. The Situation wasn't doing enough on the ground.
