Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Starim Stal Overdreem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Booms (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Overdreem comes to the cage accompanied by Motorhead-Iron Fist. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Booms stuns Overdreem with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Booms has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Overdreem.
Overdreem ducks under a wild hook from Booms.
Booms on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Booms looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A chopping leg kick lands by Overdreem.
Overdreem gets a clinch.
Overdreem escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Overdreem darts in and clinches Booms up against the cage.
Overdreem lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Tom Booms has been cut.
Overdreem throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Booms blocks it with crossed arms.
Overdreem's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Booms stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Overdreem.
Overdreem is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Overdreem lands a big head kick that sends Booms tumbling to the mat! Overdreem takes a step backwards and waves Booms back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Overdreem throws a nice outside leg kick.
Overdreem instigates a clinch.
Overdreem drops Booms with a big knee straight up the middle! Booms is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!
Booms is rocked!
That has opened up Tom Booms's cut even more.
Overdreem throws a quick head kick that knocks Booms silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Overdreem is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Starim Stal Overdreem!
