Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Air Canada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jenson Crowder!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crowder wants to clinch up but Canada keeps it at a distance.
Crowder takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Canada plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Canada throws a right hand that Crowder ducks under and follows up with a left that Crowder also avoids with ease.

Crowder closes the distance and clinches.

Canada decides to pull guard.
Crowder is looking to work some ground and pound but Canada has wrist control.
Canada pulls Crowder in to control the position.
Canada working a defensive guard here.
Crowder stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Canada swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Crowder controlling from the top position.
Canada managing to control the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Air Canada has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
A punch combination from Canada misses.
Canada is trying hard to land a takedown here. Crowder sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Crowder closes the distance but Canada moves to the side
and Canada connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Canada tries to keep at a distance but Crowder has taken the fight into the clinch.

Canada breaks from the clinch.
Canada fails in his attempt to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Crowder has his takedown stuffed

and Canada counters with a takedown into side control.

Canada is trying to get an arm triangle but Crowder is defending well.
Crowder tries to improve position but can't.
Crowder keeping his opponent close.
Crowder gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Crowder won't allow Canada to pass to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Canada prevents Crowder from improving his position.
Crowder trying to control from the bottom.
Canada is stalling here. Crowder is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Canada seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Crowder has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Crowder is looking to take a break and control but Canada is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Crowder is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Canada is trying to escape and Crowder transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Canada is forced to tap! Nice work there by Crowder! Very nice indeed!
