The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Deuda feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Deuda looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Boran is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Boran passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Deuda!

Boran moves to the back position.

Boran is working for a rear naked choke. Deuda is not defending it well and Boran has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Deuda refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Deuda's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
