Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lane Pedersen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colby Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Henderson's choice of entrance music: Waka Flocka Flame- Hard in The Paint. On his way into the cage it seems that Lane Pedersen has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Lane Pedersen seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pedersen fails to land with a series of punches.
Pedersen falls off balance throwing a combination
and Henderson counters with a stiff right hand.
Pedersen throws a left and a right that both miss
and Henderson counters with a nice body shot.
Some wild striking there from Pedersen.
Pedersen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Henderson counters with a nice uppercut.
Pedersen throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Henderson blocks a leg kick.
Pedersen throws a nice looking combination but Henderson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Good leg kick by Pedersen there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Pedersen shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Henderson sprawls well. Henderson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pedersen gets slowly back to his feet.

and Henderson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Good exchange - Pedersen coming out on top.
Pedersen darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Pedersen is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Sloppy strikes from Pedersen. Those never looked like landing.
Henderson jabs Pedersen to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Pedersen clobbers Henderson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Pedersen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Henderson was covering up waiting for the punch and Pedersen finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Pedersen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Pedersen wants to control from the top but Henderson keeps moving.

Pedersen throws and elbow that misses. Henderson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Pedersen's guard. Nice move by Henderson!
Pedersen scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Henderson misses the jab.
Henderson is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Pedersen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Henderson as he jumps to the side.
Pedersen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Henderson.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Pedersen will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

and Pedersen counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Henderson!
Pedersen wants to control the pace but Henderson is squirming around nicely.

Poor strikes thrown by Pedersen there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Pedersen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
