The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silverman throws a lazy uppercut
and Ouellette counters with a series of strikes. Silverman will be more careful next time no doubt.
Ouellette stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ouellette wants it to stay on the feet.
Fred Silverman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ouellette throws a low kick, looking for Silverman's leg but Silverman calmly moves out of range.

Silverman closes the distance and clinches up with Ouellette, looking for a takedown. Silverman pushes Ouellette against the cage but Ouellette circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
