Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jefferson Alexandre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jefferson Alexandre will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Alexandre closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hawk to the mat! Hawk manages to get full guard.

Hawk drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Alexandre manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hawk has Alexandre in his guard.

Alexandre drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Alexandre jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Alexandre is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Hawk can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Alexandre shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hawk's guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
