The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Powers gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Man Toy looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Man Toy is trying to drag Powers to the mat but Powers just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Man Toy tries to pull guard but Powers won't allow it.

Powers has picked Man Toy up - he's going for a ride! Powers dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Man Toy has hold of Powers's hands but Powers slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Powers looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Man Toy is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Powers has latched onto it... Big trouble! Powers pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Man Toy is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Powers!
