The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Djekic with a lazy takedown attempt
and Jackson counters with a nice uppercut.
Djekic closes the distance and clinches up with Jackson, looking for a takedown. Djekic pushes Jackson against the cage but Jackson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Djekic shoots and misses
and Jackson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Boris Djekic. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Djekic gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jackson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jackson cracks Djekic's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Djekic slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Jackson can do further damage! This one is done, son!
