Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Augusto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Madsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Augusto throws a leg kick that is checked
and Madsen finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Madsen tries to land a front kick but Augusto steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Augusto fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Madsen.
Madsen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A head kick by Madsen misses
and Augusto counters with a nice low kick that buckles Madsen's knee momentarily.
Madsen moves out of range as Augusto throws a body kick.
Augusto motions for Madsen to come forward. Augusto throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Augusto looks to land a body kick but Madsen moved away.
Augusto pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Augusto tries to clinch
and Madsen counters with a low kick, right behind Augusto 's knee.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A head kick by Augusto misses
and Madsen counters with a slapping leg kick.
Augusto is breathing heavily.
Augusto tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Madsen dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Augusto. That did some damage!
Madsen cracks the inside of Augusto's front leg.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Madsen connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Augusto drops his hands momentarily and Madsen needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Augusto just on the top of the head. Augusto drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Augusto - he's done!
