The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carwin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Face counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Carwin misses with a takedown

and Face counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Face.
Face avoids a wild elbow strike from Carwin.
Face prevents a body shot from Carwin.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Face.
Carwin blocks an uppercut.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Carwin throws a head punch that misses.
Carwin throws a punch but it's blocked by Face.
A short uppercut from Face.
Carwin prevents a body shot from Face.
Face tries to throw a body punch but Carwin avoids it by throwing Face back against the cage.
Face misses with some punches.
A bit of stalling here from Carwin.

Face tries a body shot but Carwin blocks it.

Face misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Face gets through Carwin's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Carwin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Carwin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Face swivels and escapes.
Carwin misses with an uppercut
and Face counters with a straight right hand.
Carwin misses with a hook to the body
and Face connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Face lands with an overhand left.
Carwin gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Face.
Carwin throws a left and a right that both miss
and Face counters with an outside leg kick.
Face lands a nice shot to the body.
Face doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Carwin takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Face throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Face fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Carwin looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Face is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Carwin rather than just go for the knockout.
Face misses with a low kick.
Carwin drops his hands momentarily and Face takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Face is looking to clinch but Carwin is avoiding it.
Carwin misses with a right hand
and Face counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Carwin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Face ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Carwin misses with a combination
and Face counters with a left and a right that stings Carwin.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Face scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Carwin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Face as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Casey Carwin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Carwin throws a sloppy body shot
and Carwin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Face counters with a left to the body.
Carwin shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Carwin misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Face counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Carwin fails with a takedown attempt.
Carwin is breathing heavily.
Face is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Face shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Carwin eats them both and turns towards Face to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Face connects with the punch.

Carwin is rocked!
Face throws an overhand right that drops Carwin like a sack of potatoes! Face dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
