Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Aka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pez Whatley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jason Aka has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jason Aka seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aka closes the distance and pushes Whatley back into the cage.
Whatley looking for a takedown.
Whatley changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Aka fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Aka throws a head kick that Whatley semi-blocks.
Aka gets a takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Whatley is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Aka scores with a couple of nice shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Aka is nestled in close to Whatley, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Aka is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Whatley is hurt! He's hurt bad - Aka fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Whatley from any more punishment! Congratulations to Aka! Great finish!
