Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rob Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thuansh Uthaisk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Thuansh Uthaisk enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Thuansh Uthaisk!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Uthaisk.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Uthaisk walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Daniels displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Uthaisk.
Daniels stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Daniels wants it to stay on the feet.
Rob Daniels has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thuansh Uthaisk.

That was a close round but I would say that Rob Daniels will probably get the nod.

and Daniels counters with a series of strikes. Uthaisk will be more careful next time no doubt.

Uthaisk shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Daniels is trying to defend but Uthaisk finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Daniels is looking to control Uthaisk's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Daniels avoid being mounted?

Uthaisk is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Daniels has managed to free his arm - good work.
Uthaisk content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Daniels knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Uthaisk on the ground.

Uthaisk is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Daniels has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Daniels!

Uthaisk has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Daniels can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Daniels drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Uthaisk manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Daniels has Uthaisk in his guard.

Uthaisk thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Uthaisk not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Thuansh Uthaisk showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Daniels throws a lazy right hand but Uthaisk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A left lands for Daniels.
Daniels loads up on a big right hand but Uthaisk slips the punch.
Uthaisk's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Daniels connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Uthaisk scrambles back to his feet.
Daniels swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Uthaisk.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Uthaisk slips a jab from Daniels.
Daniels cracks Uthaisk with a right hand to the side of the head.
Daniels lands the left hand.
Daniels lands an overhand right.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
