The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a solid leg kick but Faber takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jones.
Faber checks the leg kick.
Faber looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jones tries to get out of the position.
Jones is trying to maintain the position but Faber is very close to passing his half guard.
Jones knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Faber on the ground.
Faber is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Faber throwing shots but Jones is blocking nicely.
Jones is looking for a sweep. Faber is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Jones pushes Faber off looking to stand but Faber dives back in and keeps control.
