The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lombard throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Lawler counters with a two punch combo.
Some wild striking there from Lawler.
Lawler connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Lawler cracks a nice hook into Lombard's ribs.
Lawler darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Lombard throws a right hand that misses
and Lawler counters with a one-two to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Lombard avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lawler is pawing at Lombard, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Lombard's nose. Lombard is badly hurt! Lawler pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Lombard tries desperately to hold on but Lawler is relentless in his assault! As Lombard receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Lawler away and this one is in the books!
