PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Wasson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Todd Feager (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Feager is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mudvayne-Dig. Wasson is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Todd Feager told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Feager fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wasson, pushing him back against the cage.
Wasson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Wasson wants a takedown but no success here.

Feager drags the fight down to the ground.

Feager has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Wasson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Feager closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Feager is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Wasson is bucking up trying to escape but Feager cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Feager has control of Wasson's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wasson regains control of the situation pretty easily.
