Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Levi Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alpine Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses with a takedown attempt

and Foster holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Foster jumps guard but Jackson stands there with Foster around his waist. Foster gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Jackson tries to pull guard but Foster holds him up against the cage and eventually Jackson drops back down to his feet.

Jackson gets control of Foster's arms and successfully pulls guard. Jackson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jackson enables Foster to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jackson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
