The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verdi fails in his attempt to clinch.
Verdi throws the kick towards the body but Brickz avoids it.
Verdi throws a right hand that Brickz ducks under and follows up with a left that Brickz also avoids with ease.
Verdi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Brickz's waist but Brickz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Verdi off to one side.

The fight stays on the outside here - Verdi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

and Verdi counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Hanz Brickz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Brickz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rocky Verdi. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Brickz looks to land a combination but Verdi avoids it well.

and Brickz counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Verdi has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
