Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Charles Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sonny Truelove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Brown might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to RAWR. Charles Brown could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Sonny Truelove's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Truelove darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Nice shot lands for Truelove.
Brown fails with an attempt to clinch.
Truelove scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Brown shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Truelove lands with an overhand left.
Truelove thuds a left hand into Brown's body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Brown.

Brown closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Truelove's guard.

Truelove is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Truelove wants to stand but Brown is controlling the position.

Truelove avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Brown.
Brown prevents Truelove from standing back up.

Brown has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Brown looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Truelove with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brown postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Truelove badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Brown around the waist but Brown pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Brown is the winner by TKO! Brown jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
