Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Perry Cox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rickson Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cox comes to the cage accompanied by Solitaire Unraveling. Silva has chosen system of a down - violent pornography as his entrance music. Rickson Silva has the better chin. The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cox misses with a double jab
and Silva counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cox thinking.
Good standup being displayed there by Silva as he connects with a hook.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Silva.
Silva cracks a nice hook into Cox's ribs.
Cox cracks the inside of Silva's front leg.
Silva misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cox.
Perry Cox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cox throws a head kick that misses
and Silva cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Cox falls off balance throwing a combination
and Silva counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Cox tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Silva counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cox thinking.
Cox ducks under a wild hook from Silva.

and Silva counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Silva misses with a straight left.
Cox misses with a body kick.
Silva lands with a kick to the temple. Cox shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

and Cox counters with a big head kick but Silva shrugs it off.

and Silva cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Cox misses with an uppercut
and Silva counters with a stiff right hand.
Silva misses with an uppercut. Cox saw that one coming.
Cox throws a lazy head kick
and Silva counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Silva tries to clinch up.

and Silva counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Cox counters with a head kick that drops Silva - he's looking to finish, following his stunned foe to the ground!
Silva is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cox wants to stand up but Silva has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cox trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Silva is controlling Cox's position as best he can from this difficult position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cox trying to control from half guard but Silva is working away.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Perry Cox.
Cox throws an off balance right hand
and Silva counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Silva moves out of range of the leg kick from Cox.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Silva tries to clinch but Cox moves out of range.
Cox drops Silva with a left and a right! Oh, Silva is hurt - Cox dives into side control looking to finish!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Perry Cox dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Silva counters by moving into the clinch.
It looks like Rickson Silva has been cut.
Cox lands with a light punch inside.
Cox lands a big knee from the Thai clinch and Silva goes down hard! The ref takes a good look at him but he's still defending himself. Cox in side control.
Silva is still in real trouble! Can Cox finish him?
Silva can't do much from the bottom here.
Cox decides to stand up, so the ref orders Silva to his feet.
Silva seems to have recovered his senses.
Cox drops Silva with a huge uppercut! Silva drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Cox is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
