Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nicoli Value (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tito Guymon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Value is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Nicoli Value has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guymon gets a clinch.
Value is breathing heavily.

Guymon is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Value can't fight it off and eventually Guymon manages to take the fight to the floor. Value looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Guymon has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Value!

Let's hope that Guymon has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tito Guymon hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Guymon swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A jab from Guymon misses.

Guymon is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Value's half guard.
Guymon looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Guymon closes the distance and clinches.

Value gets tackled into the cage by Guymon. Guymon maintains the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Nicoli Value seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Guymon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Value ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nicoli Value is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Value tries to keep at a distance but Guymon has taken the fight into the clinch.

Value is fighting off a takedown attempt but Guymon is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Value to the mat. Value regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Guymon slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guymon looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Value gets caught napping as Guymon dives in and scores a takedown. Value manages to retain guard.
Guymon works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Guymon is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tito Guymon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Poor strikes thrown by Guymon there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Value really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Value enables Guymon to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Value manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tito Guymon wasn't active enough on the ground.

Well Guymon has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
