Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wrestling Spar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bubbles Ticklepants (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ticklepants has chosen Liquor & Whores as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Bubbles Ticklepants has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Wrestling Spar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bubbles Ticklepants!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ticklepants is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Spar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Spar throws a head kick that misses
and Ticklepants counters with a body kick that stops Spar in his tracks momentarily.
Spar takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Spar tries to clinch up but Ticklepants circles away and keeps his distance.

Spar shoots for a takedown but Ticklepants saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Spar has his takedown stuffed
and Ticklepants counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Spar throws a push kick but Ticklepants slaps the foot to one side.
Wrestling Spar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ticklepants throws a sloppy head kick and Spar moves out of range easily.
Ticklepants misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Bubbles Ticklepants is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Spar shoots in for a double leg but Ticklepants sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Spar is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Spar is looking to control Ticklepants's arms but Ticklepants gets an underhook and turns him. Now Spar has his back to the cage.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ticklepants seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
