Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bjorg Hurpdihurp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Schmidt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hurpdihurp kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Swedish Chef. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmidt fails with the takedown.
Schmidt pushes Hurpdihurp up against the cage in a clinch.
Schmidt pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Schmidt clinches with his opponent.
Hurpdihurp tries to break the clinch but Schmidt is controlling the position.
Schmidt's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hurpdihurp throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Schmidt.
A head kick misses from Hurpdihurp.
Schmidt blocks a head kick by Hurpdihurp.
Schmidt fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hurpdihurp avoids it really well and circles away.
Schmidt fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Hurpdihurp throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Schmidt counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Schmidt pulls guard successfully.
Hurpdihurp would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Hurpdihurp knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Schmidt on the ground.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Schmidt is on top in guard.
Hurpdihurp wants to stand but Schmidt is controlling the position.
Schmidt throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hurpdihurp looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Schmidt puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Hurpdihurp wants to get back to full guard but Schmidt has mounted him!

Schmidt has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Hurpdihurp tries to buck Schmidt off but Schmidt takes his back!
Schmidt lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Hurpdihurp is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
It looks like Schmidt might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Hurpdihurp is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Schmidt has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Hurpdihurp! Can he survive? No! He's out! Schmidt gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
