The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Williams but Williams pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rodriguez tries to close the distance and clinch up but Williams swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Williams stalks Rodriguez and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rodriguez's face. Rodriguez staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Sergio Rodriguez has been cut.
Rodriguez misses with a straight right.
Williams has a takedown stuffed.
Rodriguez shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Williams but Williams pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Rodriguez keeps the fight on the outside.
Williams tries for a takedown but Rodriguez sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rodriguez tries to clinch but Williams is having none of it.
Rodriguez shoots in but Williams avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sergio Rodriguez. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rodriguez slaps away a takedown attempt from Williams, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Williams misses with a jab, cross combination.
Williams closes the distance and clinches up with Rodriguez, looking for a takedown. Williams pushes Rodriguez against the ropes but Rodriguez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Rodriguez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Williams as he jumps to the side.
Williams fails with the takedown.
Williams circles away from the clinch attempt.

Williams drops Rodriguez with a beautiful combination! Rodriguez stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Williams is looking for the KO!

Rodriguez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Williams as he avoids it easily.

Rodriguez moves into the clinch.

Williams manages to pull guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Williams has his feet on Rodriguez's thighs here. He's pushed Rodriguez off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Rodriguez screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
