The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green closes the distance and clinches up with Tuominen, looking for a takedown. Green pushes Tuominen against the cage but Tuominen circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Green shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Leroy Green seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tuominen is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Tuominen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Tuominen tries to stand but Green is controlling his head.

Green is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Tuominen is looking for a kimura but Green is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Tuominen to get the leverage.

Green manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Tuominen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Green. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tuominen is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
