Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Michael Jai White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eisenstein Priestley!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
White moves in looking to clinch but Priestley pushes him off.
White feints and then cracks Priestley's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Priestley down.
Priestley throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

White wants the takedown. Priestley is fighting it off but White persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Priestley's guard against the cage.

White stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Priestley swivels though and keeps the full guard.
White postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

White slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
White postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

White tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no White has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

White is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Priestley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

White misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
White creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Priestley sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

White has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Priestley defend it? White steps over the head and cranks it - Priestley is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for White!
