Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dick Slocum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slocum tries to clinch but Brown moves away

and Brown counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Slocum's guard now.
Slocum is pulling down on Brown's head to control his posture.

Tyler Brown has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Slocum closes the distance but Brown moves to the side

and Brown counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Brown.

Slocum pulls Brown in close to his closed guard and prevents Brown from doing any damage or advancing position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Dick Slocum.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Brown successfully pulls guard.
Brown not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Slocum wants to stand and escape but instead Brown has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Slocum controls Brown momentarily but Brown frees himself.
Brown wants to control from the top but Slocum keeps moving.

Brown drops back looking for a leg! Slocum is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Slocum manages to kick Brown off! Brown jumps back into Slocum's guard.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Slocum escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Brown gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Slocum is looking for a triangle here but Brown uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyler Brown dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Brown takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Slocum fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

and Slocum counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Tyler Brown has been cut.
Brown swats away the attempt to clinch by Slocum.
Slocum lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Brown is looking to close the distance but Slocum sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Brown crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Brown is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
