The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Columbo Gatti and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matthews lands with a thumping leg kick.
Matthews tries to clinch
and In Shadows counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Matthews closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
In Shadows lands with an uppercut that bounces Matthews off the cage and back into rage.
Matthews wants to land a leg kick but In Shadows is out of range.
In Shadows has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Matthews.
In Shadows goes for a small jab and connects. Now In Shadows goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Matthews stumbles back but In Shadows runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Matthews to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Matthews will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
