The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jr throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Jr slips a jab from Draft.
Jr connects with a solid leg kick.
Jr feints and then cracks Draft's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Draft down.
Good leg kick by Jr there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Freddy Lee Jr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jr throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jr enables Draft to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jr manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Draft lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Draft is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jr knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Draft goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jr has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Draft but great work by Jr.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Jr. Draft shrugs it off though.

Draft drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Jr manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Draft has Jr in his guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Draft drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jr looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jr looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jr!
Draft pushes Jr away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Jr gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Draft, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
