Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mama pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reed throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Reed is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Mama.
Mama throws a sloppy head kick
and Reed counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Reed looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Mama takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Mama fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Reed scores with a decent looking hook.

Mama drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Mama tries a head kick but it misses.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Mama throws a sloppy head kick
and Reed counters with a left to the body.

and Reed counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Reed tries a low kick but Mama avoids it.

Mama gets caught napping as Reed dives in and scores a takedown. Mama manages to retain guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Reed accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Reed passes Mama's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Reed is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mama sees it coming and defends easily.

Reed is pressing down on Mama's thigh, looking to free his foot. Mama is holding on for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Reed is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Mama is just riding it out for now. Reed eventually gives up the hold.

Reed shoots in but no luck this time.
Reed swings for the body but Mama moves out of range.

Mama does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Mama throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Reed sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Mama throws a sloppy head kick and Reed moves out of range easily.
Reed lands with a right hand.

Reed closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mama's guard.

Reed trying to control but Mama is working from the bottom.
Mama is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Reed is controlling him.

Reed drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mama looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mama looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mama!

Mama is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Reed has his hands clasped together around Mama's back. He's all about the action.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Reed keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Billy Reed was stalling too much, according to the referee.
No luck for Reed with that takedown attempt.

That was a close second round but I would say that Imo Mama will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Mama lands with a kick to the temple. Reed shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Mama.
Reed cracks Mama with an open hand slap.
Reed misses with a takedown attempt - Mama sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Mama gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Mama throws a head kick but Reed moves out of range.
Reed fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mama avoids it really well and circles away.

and Reed counters with a shoot takedown. Mama fights it but they end up in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mama wants to get back to his feet but Reed is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Mama wants to stand but Reed is controlling the position.
Mama on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mama tries to get out of the position.
Reed trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Reed is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Mama knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reed on the ground.

Reed drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reed jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Reed trying to control the position from guard on top but Mama is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mama is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Reed dives into side control.

Reed has hold of Mama's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Mama tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Reed cranks the arm and Mama screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Mama, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
