Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Berry Aneurysm!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Glenn!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Ian Loll and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aneurysm throws a poor cross that misses

and Glenn counters with a takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Aneurysm is looking to regain half guard here but Glenn keeps moving and retains side control.

Glenn decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Glenn tries to clinch up but Aneurysm circles away and keeps his distance.
Aneurysm throws a combination that misses

and Glenn counters with a shoot takedown. Aneurysm fights it but they end up in guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Glenn is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Aneurysm utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Aneurysm on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Aneurysm tries to get out of the position.
Glenn throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Glenn trying to control but Aneurysm is working from the bottom.
Glenn is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Glenn postures up in Aneurysm's guard and throws a big left but Aneurysm blocks it.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Glenn's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Glenn controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Aneurysm preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Aneurysm is breathing heavily.
Glenn is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bobby Glenn hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Aneurysm misses with a hook
and Glenn counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Glenn wants the takedown. Aneurysm is fighting it off but Glenn persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Aneurysm's guard against the cage.
Aneurysm could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Glenn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Glenn missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Glenn is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Aneurysm utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Glenn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Glenn advances position into side control!
Aneurysm takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Aneurysm parries the strikes from Glenn easily there. Glenn is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Aneurysm to escape.
Glenn connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Aneurysm some visible discomfort.


It looks like Berry Aneurysm has been cut.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Glenn tries to score with some ground and pound. Aneurysm controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Glenn is putting a hurting on Aneurysm here, landing some big shots from side control.


Berry Aneurysm's cut is getting worse.
Aneurysm knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Glenn on the ground.
Glenn scores with punches from side control.


Berry Aneurysm's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Glenn is putting a hurting on Aneurysm here, landing some big shots from side control.


Jeez, Berry Aneurysm's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Berry Aneurysm's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Bobby Glenn!
