The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wrinkly throws out a loose jab but Snot uses good head movement to avoid it.
Wrinkly misses with a leg kick.
Wrinkly moves out of range of the body kick from Snot.
Snot throws a push kick but Wrinkly slaps the foot to one side.
Wrinkly takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Snot scores with a jab to the body.
Wrinkly thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Snot if he has to take too many more of those.
Wrinkly moves in looking to clinch but Snot pushes him off.
Wrinkly connects with a body shot.
Wrinkly fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Wrinkly rushes Snot and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Snot blocks the elbow strike.
A battle for position here, against the cage.
Snot takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Piet Snot has been cut.
Snot dodges an elbow strike from Wrinkly.
Wrinkly looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Snot stops a takedown attempt from Wrinkly.
Snot can't get the takedown.
Wrinkly with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Wrinkly is pressed up against the cage. Snot has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Wrinkly down to the mat. Wrinkly avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Wrinkly thows a body shot but no joy.
Wrinkly doesn't manage to clinch there - Snot circles away.

Snot misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wrinkly scores with a nice head shot.
Wrinkly throws a right and a left that both miss.
Bose Wrinkly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wrinkly moves into the clinch.
Wrinkly has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Snot regains guard immediately.
Wrinkly has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Wrinkly trying to control the position from guard on top but Snot is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Snot is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Wrinkly postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Snot is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Snot is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Wrinkly wants to stand and escape but instead Snot has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Snot got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wrinkly has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Snot has managed to get both his arms back between Wrinkly's legs - danger averted.

Wrinkly pushes Snot off and scrambles back to his feet.
Snot shoots in and drives through. Wrinkly sprawls well.
Bose Wrinkly has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Piet Snot.
Snot throws a lazy head kick
and Wrinkly counters with a nice leg kick.
Snot lands a nice shot that snaps Wrinkly's head back.
Wrinkly swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Snot.
Snot thows a left - swing and a miss!
Snot with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Wrinkly lands a jab to the nose.
Snot throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Wrinkly fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Snot on the side of the head.
Snot throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice body kick from Snot.
Wrinkly is breathing heavily.
Snot throws a push kick but Wrinkly slaps the foot to one side.
Wrinkly is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Wrinkly closes the distance but Snot moves to the side
and Snot counters with a left to the body.
Snot slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Wrinkly moves out of range as Snot throws a body kick.
Snot shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Snot is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Snot is looking for a kimura here.
Snot wants to control but Wrinkly is keeping him busy.
That's five minutes gone in the round.
Snot stalling away here and it's allowed Wrinkly to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Snot stopping the sweep attempt from Wrinkly.
Wrinkly wants to hit a switch here but Snot passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Wrinkly there!
Snot avoids the attempt from Wrinkly to control.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Snot looking for a guillotine from mount but Wrinkly is having none of it.
Snot scoring with strikes but Wrinkly is staying in there.
It looks like Bose Wrinkly has been cut.
Snot wants to control the pace but Wrinkly is squirming around nicely.
Snot unloads with some shots from mount but Wrinkly bucks and avoids them well.
Snot working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Wrinkly looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Snot! Submission of the night perhaps?
